About Morfliq

A small browser tool for converting images and videos without uploading them.

Morfliq is operated by ew. It converts video to MP4, turns the beginning of a video into a GIF, extracts MP3 audio and converts still images between JPG, PNG and WebP.

What it does

Select one file, choose its output format and adjust resolution or quality. Videos up to 1GB and images up to 200MB are accepted. GIF output is limited to the first 30 seconds. Large files may be slow or fail because of device memory limits; a computer is recommended.

This is not a full video editor. It does not remove DRM or restore detail lost through compression.

How it works

The site uses HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Video conversion uses ffmpeg.wasm and FFmpeg; images use the browser's image processing features. Site files and the video engine are served from this site. Selected files are not sent to a conversion server.
