Privacy policy

Selected images and videos are not uploaded to an external server for conversion.

1. Scope

This policy covers the current Morfliq website. The site has no account registration, login, payments or contact form and does not ask you to enter a name or email address.

2. Selected files and results

The browser reads file contents, names and sizes to convert files and display results. Videos are processed on your device with Web Workers and WebAssembly; images use browser image processing. There is no file-upload feature. Conversion logs are displayed locally and are not sent to a server.

Conversion resources are released on completion or cancellation. References used for previews are released when you remove or replace a file or leave the page. The browser controls when memory is reclaimed. Downloaded results stay on your device until you delete them.

3. Website access and hosting

Loading pages, scripts and the conversion engine involves requests to our hosting provider, Cloudflare. It may process IP addresses, request times and browser information to deliver and secure the site. This is separate from uploading your file. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

4. Cookies and browser storage

The application sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It stores only your manually selected language (ko or en) in localStorage under morfliq-language. This preference is not sent to a server and can be removed by clearing this site's browser data. Files and conversion settings are not stored in localStorage or IndexedDB.

On the homepage, the browser's preferred language is used to choose Korean or English when no preference is saved. The site does not look up your location or IP address to select a language. Browser HTTP caching may keep site files and the engine. Hosting security technologies are covered by the provider's policies.

5. Advertising and external links

There are currently no advertising scripts, including Google AdSense, or visitor analytics tools installed. If advertising is introduced, this policy and any required consent flow will be updated to match the actual setup. External sites have their own privacy policies.

6. Your choices

You can read the guides without choosing a file, cancel a conversion, or remove the file or close the tab to release application references. Since the operator does not store your media on a server, there is no separate server-side media deletion process.

The contact page explains how to email us. Your mail app sends the message; the website does not automatically attach media or logs. Send only the information needed for a reply.
